Introduction. In 2020, the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) led to the suspension of in-person school activities at all educational levels due to the health emergency. Virtual education is a teaching method that uses Information and Communication Technologies to provide educational environments remotely and eliminate barriers of distance and time, where teachers and students interact in a space other than in person. To evaluate the quality of virtual education, it is necessary to identify a set of determinants, including student satisfaction. Objective. Validate the instrument: Satisfaction with distance education in students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and methods. The research has a quantitative, transversal, descriptive, and correlational approach. Five academic secretaries and eight coordinators of the Health Sciences Campus degrees participated to carry out the content validity and 323 students of the educational programs taught at the Health Sciences Campus, who disruptively went from face-to-face to online education. To whom an instrument was applied to evaluate satisfaction in three dimensions. Results. The instrument was validated by expert judgment and through pilot testing, Cronbach's alpha was obtained at 0.956, with a p value of 0.0001, which establishes a good level of internal consistency. Conclusions. Content validation and internal consistency of the instrument were determined, it is recommended to perform additional analyses such as Exploratory Factor Analysis or Confirmatory Factor Analysis.
