Objective: to describe the case of a pediatric patient with GB associated to influenza vaccine with a Nursing Care Process (PAE) approach (1,2). Methodology: single case study with cross-sectional and exploratory scope of an 8-year-old patient with WBC, in a second level hospital in Saltillo, Coahuila with application of the PAE The assessment is performed using the Virginia Henderson model based on the 14 basic needs, and is addressed during the hospital stay Result: The following diagnoses were found 00085. Mobility impairment, 000146. Anxiety, 00018. Urinary incontinence, 00182. Willingness to improve self-care, 00047. Risk of deterioration of skin integrity, and 00015. Risk of constipation. Discussion: the care of a pediatric patient with WBC is a challenge for the health team, considering the exception of the causal relationship with the application of the influenza vaccine (3,4). Conclusion: the results obtained were as expected, improving mobility impairment, anxiety, urinary incontinence together with adequate medical treatment.
