Abstract

Mani it's a historic town hich is seated in the land of the pheasant and the deer; in the heart of mayab. Its antecedents go back to the great Mayan culture that had its main settlement in the zone of Chiapas and the peninsula of Yucatán, extending to the neighboring countries of the south, Guatemala, Belize and part of Salvador and Honduras. In the case of the Yucatan peninsula, its referent is present for its political, social, economic and military organization that was integrated by three great lineages, giving life to the Mayan Confederation of that glorious time; The Itzaes in Chichen Itzá, the Cocomes in Mayapan and the Xiues in Uxmal. This political-military alliance comprised the year 987 to 1521, representing a succesful and flourishing period until the arrival of the Spaniards who began a process of submission under the policy of expansion and the conquest approved by the rulers of the feudal period in Europe. From this process of disruption and breakdown of knowledge of the native cultures of the Yucatan Peninsula and the Mesoamerican area; There are still spaces that preserve its history, among them the municipalit y of Mani, which protects from generation to generation part of its Mayan historical legacy. An example of this is its customs, traditions, the preservation of its native language (Maya), books from Chilam Balam de Pean, among other great practices of social connivance In the historical and cultural context of Mani ; The research was conducted: "The transformation of social policy and its relationship with the processes of organization and social participation of the indigenous peoples of the state of Yucatan, an analysis of the Local Human Development Agencies (ADHL) during the six -year Enrique Peña Nieto ", in which students of the Degree in Social Work inscribed to the summer of research "Jaguar and of the Interinstitutional Program for the trengthening of Research and Postgraduate of the Pacific Delfín ", in the months of July and August of 2014 and 2015 participated.
